Electric Fly Killer Units in the UK require annual UV Tube replacements and at least quarterly Glue Board or Catch Tray maintenance to stay effective and comply with food safety laws.
Electric fly killers (EFK's) are important in monitoring and control of not only flies, but other other flying insects such as moths, beetles and wasps. EFK's are widely used in both domestic and commercial settings to control flying insect activity, particularly in food preparation and storage areas.
Glueboard units are usually required above food preparation areas. Units should be a suitable size for the area.
